The bunkering activities of PT. Sulawesi Bunker Terminal at Donggala will have a very positive effect on surrounding population by creating income from vessels calling at the port for bunkers which previously were just passing by without stopping. This will support the local area economy through the supplying of fresh water, fresh provisions, stores and other items to the vessels together with the fuel.

The area was sadly struck by a severe earthquake in September 2018 with many casualties and many people displaced from their damaged homes. PT. Sulawesi Bunker Terminal will continue to support rebuilding efforts underway in the Palu and Donggala area which will continue for years to come.
